Netflix officially announced this morning that the next Live-Action resident demonic the series that will reach the platform will be launched on July 14. The news of the program, starring Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker, have been relatively quiet for several years, but now it is known that it will consist of eight episodes of one hour and see Jade Wesker, who seems to be Albert's daughter, fighting. To survive 14 years after a deadly virus causes a world apocalypse.
This, of course, is a completely new address for the Resident Evil franchise in general. So it seems, the program will explore a completely new type of world using the events and details of the franchise. This is also probably the reason why the program is developed in New Raccoon City instead of, well, in Raccoon City.
